Silverado and Equinox

Hey guys/gals. Would a Silverado be a good choice for a winter/rain second car to a Camaro option? Also what does everyone think about the Equinox?

Yup. I've got an 06 Silvy Z71 and love it. My Mom has an 07 Equinox (FWD and it's a wonderful winter vehicle for her.

Can't go wrong with either. Good luck

I have a 2010 Equinox (AWD, V6) that was a cash for clunkers purchase last summer. It does great in the snow and rain and the V6 is peppy enough. I just bought winter tires for my 2011 2SS/RS baby (Rudy and TireRack . . . wonderful and very quick service), plan on driving her throughout the winter. Will use the Equinox when the snow really piles up but until then I'm driving my Camaro.

I was think the same thing today. Thinking about trading my G6 for a Equinox or Terrain I was looking at the Silverados on a lot near me last week they had some great deals on them $7000 off sticker.

i bought a 2010 silverado as my daily driver.

2nd best vehicle purchase i've ever made, the camaro was the best of course!
