Exclamation Crazy Auto Deals!!!

So, my girlfriend was looking to get a basic car and Yesterday we went around to look at the Chevy Cobalt and Ford Focus. Well, we went to the Ford dealer and there was an 09 Focus in Ice Blue w/ black interior "SE" with auto, sync, and ABS model in the showroom floor with 3 miles on it next to a 2008 GT500KR "$131K" HA Ha. Anyway, she fell in love with the color and had to have it. May I add that I was really surprised in the quality for a base line car. Back to the story, The sticker was $18,900 but with employee pricing, dealer discount, Ford cash credit, and college credit. The car was $14,332. After sending my girlfriend away to get some coffe and pushing the dealer around I walked out the door/total with a fully loaded 09 Focus SE for $13,126.00 after taxes, tags, and gap insurance. I love Chevy, but Damn!!! Oh, she gets a Focus and I get to have my 10' 2SS Camaro!!!

You can easly get a 2006-2007 cobalt with under 30k miles for under 10,000. Well I hope she enjoys the car, and hope it doesn't give it any problems, We all know how fords are.

The Cobalt is a more attractive car, in my opinion, and I loved the way mine drove. I had a rental Focus while the Cobalt was in the shop. I can only describe the experience as a disappointment. Regardless, this is a remarkable deal.

Yeah, we made it to the chevy dealer. But, the Ford dealer was giving a better deal. I was also reading reviews on the Focus V. Cobalt and they were both evenly matched. Plus, it was the car she wanted. Remember guys: Happy girl, happy man!

You wasted your money on that gap insurance unless she was really upside-down on a trade-in. Especially if you got a really good deal on the car. Gap insurance is just to cover the difference in what the car is worth and what you owe on it. If you got a really good deal, it's probably worth more than you owe on it already if you were to get into an accident.

D@mn! That's some smooth talkin' there! Nice job, my man. I didn't think they'd do much more than what you already had after all those discounts. Good job.

Remember: Ford took the hit and dropped the price of the car not the dealers. They're still making the same amount of money off the car as if it was MSRP. So, there is alot of wiggle around. Talk them down to the ground! Plus, if you give the salesman a perfect review on Ford's saleman survey they will get an extra $100.

cobalt has basically the same incentives. NEVER stop at a F.O.R.D. dealership FIRST!
