Spotted 2011 SLP Camaro pilot car #1 - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I pulled out of my driveway last Saturday and 5 houses down i spot a Camaro. I pull over thinking it's a new Camaro owner in the neighborhood. I start taking to the guy, he proceeds to tell it's the new 2011 SLP Camaro pilot car #1. It was given to him to drive around for a week, and then he would do an article on the car. He is a reported for our Local news paper. Unfortunately the pics were taken with my cell phone, so not the best.

Front splitter looks good. The engine cover is different than the '10 SLP Camaros isn't it?

Sweet car! A local dealership has a 2010 SLP car for $65k. I wish they sold that front splitter separate....

I'am relly likeing this hood, compare my car's hood (the IBM Camro next to the SLP Camaro) the SLP's hood really POPS

Yes it is. They also seem to be advertising 585 hp for the 2011 if iam not mistaken the 2010 had 575 hp

Looks nice but where's he's goin with 585 fwhp. For all that money I'd rather build my own and have a few sheckles left for gas.....or meth

They still have the ugly wheels and the dump mail slot block off plate. You would think for 75 grand they could put a new front end on it that doesn't have the mail slot.
I'll wait for the Z/28 thank you.
