as the thread stated, i have a reverse dent in my trunk, I had my carry on bag in my trunk and i lifted it up right to look for something in the trunk and when i closed it the handle (it was retracted at the time) pushed out a small dent about 2-3" long about a 1' wide and it sticks up about a half an inch to 3/4" up
, is there a way to fix it without taking it to the body shop? I tried pressing down on it but no luck, any advice would be most helpful, it is too dark out to take a pic but i think my description is perfect enough as it is.

A hammer and a nylon knock down tool.
The nylon knock down even comes with "pops a dent" at walmart.

I would think a paintless dent removal guy [a good one] could knock it back down...?
