Why no sex or age info???
Why no sex or age info???
Anywhere in a users info would be nice. Not everyone picks a username that would clue you in on sex, sometimes its backwards. And its nice to know if your talking to a lady. Everyone talks to men and women different for a reason. Avatars are even worse for guessing sex, guys with female type user names and avatars and the reverse for women make it real hard to guess. Id also like to know if IM talking to kids under 18 in some of the threads we have here to limit my liability? kinda kiddin but not. This has to be the only site I ever been to that didn’t already show atleast persons sex, ages over 18 are often able to be hidden. |

Those are some excellent points. Especially with the kiddies. I don't want to think someone is an idiot, only to find out they are a 12-year-old that just doesn't know any better.

It's not Facebook... And the rules seem to kind of eliminate the need to know- regardless of age/sex it needs to be appropriate
