Super easy 1000+whp for you ZL1 guys
We've had a number of customers do this over the years, just wanted to tell you guys how simple this is when you are starting with a M6 ZL1. This is a bone stock engine ZL1. Just swapped the blower for the TT's. Changed out the fuel pump to dual 430lph. And tuned up some 1200cc injectors. Last edited by AGP Turbo; 08-23-2017 at 06:57 PM. |

A twin turbo ZL1? That sounds pretty sweet.

Super easy as long as you've got $10k laying around.

How long will the stock bottom end, trans, rear end etc. last at that kind of a level? To my knowledge, the LSA's internals top out around 800 RWHP safely with some pushing it to 900, but often expecting to break stuff. Trans and rear definitely would need to be built.

I would guess you are talking more about 8-900whp blower cars, cause we've seen a lot of them with no problem in the 900-1050whp range on turbo. Keep in mind a blower takes about 15% of the engines power to spin up the blower so 800whp blown is the same stress on the engine as a turbo car at 940whp. Free HP. All that said, LSX427 is coming soon. We over sized the turbos for a higher goal |

She'll be nuts with an LSX though. Be sure to post that build! |

Stock LSA here for over 2.5 years, half mile events and plenty of quarter mile passes. Started out on low boost in the 1/4 trapping 126mph, then 134, then 138, then 146, and have ran 150.2. All boost no nitrous, it's a great kit.

No, my car is a bit different in almost every way except the turbo kit and stock LSA. Currently have 58/62's but am changing to 62/62's for my new motor I am building.

Are you sticking with your 6L90? After we talked the other day I was thinking you could keep you stock stall and just run a 100 shot off the line only to get you moving. And have it shut off by a hobbs switch when the boost hits 10. A bottle would last you like 50-60 passes that way.
