Before/After getting Cammed

I just had a cam installed by the local performance shop who uses a TSP cams but they custom make one just for the shop. It sounds good. So in the first cold start, I ended up at 426WHP, which is what the engine is rated at but that is not the true WHP. so the second half i am now at 481 WHP with the cam and GPI ROD MOD Intake manifold. so i am very happy with it and the sound of the NPP with it on the road is amazing.

Hell yea!!! Congrats. I bet the ole butt dyno likes those mods a lot!

I used to live a bit north of you in Loudoun county. (I’m glad I left long before they moved into the constant National news spotlight lol). The stretch of 95 that runs thru Stafford county used to be a great place to open it up and haul some ass. I’m sure it’s all way over crowded now though, I haven’t been on that section of 95 in 15-20 years probably.

so the performance shop gets the stage 2 from TSP but then TSP grinds it a bit and engraves the logo from the performance shop on the cam. so its like 2.5 cam from TSP. when i get home i will post the Cam card they gave me.

The carpet under the tires is for if I put wheel dressing on them, it helps protect the concrete. One project still to do is put down some epoxy paint in the garage. Just haven't done it yet.

That cam looks very close to their turbo cam. I'm close to you in Charles County MD, and will be installing a TSP cam in my 13 this spring. Who did the tuning on your car? What did they charge? I will be doing the install, but don't have the equipment or expertise to do the tuning. Thanks

The performance shop I went through was Elite Speed and Performance in Fredericksburg VA. Landon is the tuner at the shop and Mike is the owner/mechanic. They charged me just at 6k and that was for, new cam and supporting parts like springs and so on. I had them install the GPi intake manifold. And Dyno and tune. So for you, just wanting the tune and Dyno. I guess around 2k or less. But look them up and give them a call.
