I'm sure GM has a reason.

But it just makes me f'n sick that we don't have an answer for this or the GT500. And please don't say the vette.

I just got done giving Georgie a hard time. But the fact remains Stock GT 500 wins and so does the Lightning and now the Raptor.

I know now is not the time for GM to take any risks. But I'd love to see them compete here.....

......dammit.

the offroading truck market lmao. didnt jeep try to do something in that terriorty with the jeep huricane with 4-wheel turning or sumthin.
the raptor is interesting but for me does see to useful svt should invest back it the ford focus and mustang.
btw ford has always had the best trucks in the buisness. from a company stand point the fords last the longest while taking the most abuse. ford trucks FTMFW

I love Chevy but Ford truck have always dominated.
There's a guy at school who drives a lightning. It's pretty beat up but i still like watching it take off.

Because it's an actual off-road ready truck and like I said I love Chevy but Ford trucks are better.
And I think everyone else agrees that if it's American we are all happy but just a little bummed that it's not a Silverado.

It's a stock production truck driving through the desert at speeds that would send just about any other factory production pickup to the shop. Goodies include a 425hp+ 6.2L V8, 12 inches or more wheel travel on the front suspension, and heavy duty everything underneath. Imagine the Z06 ethos, but applied to areas where there is no pavement.

I'm sure GM has some reason for not competing with this. My guess is that the Trailblazer SS sort of fits this category, and fast truck buyers are likely to convert to fast cars in a market that no longer favors trucks. In any case, Ford did a good job here.

Make no mistake, If the SS is on PAR with the GT00 at the price point it's currently at... I will have nothing to complain about.
