Great seat belt ad

I and Mrs. Number 3 had "sparkle dust" in our eyes.

Wear them. Please.

That is a good spot.

Please click it.
Airbags don't work without them.....

EDIT: I like that new cars come with that passenger airbag chime, so my car will yell at the passenger instead of me. Saves that awkward moment...

I had a high school classmate killed at 16 years old in a car accident during sophomore year. He wasn't wearing a seatbelt. it was on November 15th, 2002. I'll never forget. He was driving with three other classmates in his car down a gravel road in the country between Madison and Dawson, MN. Took a turn at an intersection a little too fast, rolled the car when it hit the transition between the road and the ditch, and hit a power line pole while flying through the air and rolling. The pole impacted about at the top driver's side corner of the windshield. One of the other guys in the car (who had his seat belt on) ran about half a mile down the road to my parents' house because he could see the yard light. It was 11:00 PM or so when he pounded on the front door.
Steve didn't make it; they airlifted him to a hospital (I can't remember which one) in the Twin Cities, but there was nothing they could do. They had his funeral in the elementary school gym because the Catholic church wasn't even close to big enough for all the people that came.

My car never moves until everyone has their seat belts on. Sorry for the novel, the commercial just reminded me.

I dislike that cars come with airbags.

Should still be optional.

As a 20+ year autobody repair tech, I have seen the unbelievable carnage caused by foolish drivers. Most accidents are caused be inattentive/distracted drivers. These type of drivers are headed your way at high speeds sometimes ony seperated from you by a few inches if you are on a two lane road. Think about life EVERY time you get into any car, even if you aren't the driver.

PLEASE WEAR YOUR SEATBELT....YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!
