I love it....when that turbo kicks in the car rockets!! There are also 3 different suspension modes touring sport and snow and ice when you switch to sport the car changes, your steering stiffens and your throttle is much quicker

We have a 2.0T with AWD, CUE, Sunroof and heated seats.

First, a disappointment is that they copied BMW on their option content. The base car, which we have, has vinyl seats, no fold down rear seat, no back up sensors, no remote start. All things we had on our Cruze LTZ. But to get those you have to get the Luxury Package which is another $4,000. If those things are important to you, consider stepping up.

The other thing the Luxury package gives you is better front seat adjustment. In our base car, you have up/down, for/aft, recline. The seats in the Luxury package allow you to also change the angle of the seat cushion. This can be important depending on what you find comfortable. I am ok with the base seats, but they aren't as nice as what is in our Audi S4.

As for the 2.0T, it is a decent performer, but I wouldn't call it a rocket ship. I'm comparing it to our 3.0 SC Audi with AWD, and frankly there is no comparison. If you want real performance, get the 3.6L.

I'm not sure what mods are available for this engine yet. We had a Sky Redline with the old 2.0T and GMPP has a very nice recalibration that maintained the warranty. The got it to 290 HP and 330 lbft of torque. But that is only the equivalent of the 3.6L.

Overall, we really like the car. It's quiet and comfortable on the highway and handles really well when pushed. Like most GM cars, real world FE sucks pretty bad. On a recent trip back to MI (very cold temps mind you) we didn't even get 25 mpg.

Also, the other HUGE drawback is the rear seat. No space at all and with the sunroof, your head is in a cut out behind the headliner to make room for the sunroof in the open position. If you sit tall (and I do) you have to bend sideways if you want to lean forward. So don't get the sunroof if rear seat accommodations are important to you.

Good luck with the car. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. But as ours is a lease and I value the warranty, we won't be doing anything with ours.

Oh and those 3 modes (sport, touring and snow) are not suspension adjustments. They are shift algorithms that change the transmission. Snow for example gives you a 2nd gear start.

Overall, for the money, you are getting a really great car and a Cadillac to boot, which in itself is a pretty good thing as far as the dealer and service. For example we went to get our oil change (free maintenance included) and they said it would be about and hour and a half. When we seemed disappointed they just said, "oh, go see the guy over there and we'll get you a free loaner car". You get that at luxury dealers (Audi is the same way), but not often at Chevy dealers.

Edit - just noticed you had already bought it. First quick read was you were looking at one. Oooops.

I have a 2013 ATS performance 3.6 AWD. I love the car as my daily driver. I pretty much have every option except the driver awareness package.

Its quick, comfortable, fantastic interior, great handling, and just plain fun. Plus living in northeast ohio the AWD is nice to have.

I have not done any modifications. I pretty much have the Camaro for that.
