TV Sucks

I was looking for ways to watch my now underway football game, but I refuse to pay for a thousand channels I won't watch on either cable or satellite. I literally watch traditional TV only when sports are on, and it costs about as much to visit a sports bar every Saturday during football season and order food so I can keep my table for 3 hours. That leaves me with the option to not follow my team, which sucks, or pirate, which is not a desirable option.

Instead of traditional TV, I use Hulu and Netflix to watch whatever I'm interested in seeing whenever I want to see it.

Because of this, I save around $60/month, but I can't see sports. When are sports channels going to catch up to this kind of airing?

I'd even take a sports package that offers just Fox Sports, ESPN channels, CBS Sports, and maybe a couple of other channels. I'm disgusted with "basic cable" and all the junk programming that fills those channels.

You my friend need to check this out.

I cut the cord a year ago. We watch whatever we want, whenever we want saving 120 dollars a month doing it. Hell I even bought a new cable modem to save another 7 bucks a month.

Roku 3, plex server, Chromecast beaming Hulu to the TV.... So many options, there are even ways to DVR your OTA digital and analog channels.

That sounds a lot like me, but I'm still not getting my college sports.
