My Christmas Story
So I stopped by the post office of my tiny town (pop 379) on Christmas Eve around 4PM. We have PO Boxes, not delivery to house. I was hoping maybe my retro SS emblems and SS Catch Can bracket had showed up. Little did I know, the Postmaster (Deborah) closed the window at noon and went home.
There's a yellow slip in my box stating I had two packages to sign for. Stuck to the bottom of the yellow slip was a note from Deborah that said: "Mr. Palmer - if you need these two packages for Christmas, call me (cell number was written in) and I will meet you at the Post ffice for pick up". So I called Deborah from the PO and she said she only lived a block away and would be right over. Within five minutes she was there, went in the back and got my two packages, and I signed for them. More than those two little boxes... Deborah's gracious offer and actions made my Christmas! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all - do something nice for someone this holiday season!

Small places are nice at times
 We only have 6,000 people in my whole county Very rural Lol dont even have a stop light Merry christmas

I remember a few years back we were out of town and had stopped our mail the week before. We got back in Christmas Eve. Believe it or not, our post office brought our mail to our house, that evening, after we got home. They wanted to make sure we got our Christmas cards. It was an amazing thing! Nice story, Mr Palmer!
