Which should I drive? Gallardo, F430, or Z06?

I'm looking for some outside opinions. For my upcoming bachelor party day, one of the activities is one of those 1-hr exotic car driving places. Essentially, you pay, get to drive on a private road with no speed limits for ~45 min (15 min prep).

I'm trying to decide between driving a Corvette Z06 or a Lamborghini Gallardo. There's a Ferrari F430, but I'm going to let my friend who can't drive a stick drive that.

Here are the pros/cons so far:

Lamborghini Gallardo
+ where else am I going to get to drive a Lamborghini?
- paddle shifters

Corvette Z06
+ it's a real manual stick transmission
- it's still "only" a Corvette and not an exotic once-in-a-lifetime car (in fact, I could see myself one day getting a Z06, which would make this a cool, way-in-advance test drive, which is a plus)

What does everyone think? Anyone with a Z06 want to chime in? I'm actually leaning towards the Corvette just because I think I'd have more fun with the manual...

I would drive the Gallardo for the reasons you said. I can see myself (as can many of us) getting a Z06 down the line. I doubt I would ever buy a Lamborghini (even if I had the funds).

Lambo. You will be able to boast about that forever... and you will.

The Vette, while still a nice car, is still something you may find other opportunities to drive.

If you are going exotic, go REAL exotic.

That Gallardo, BTW, has an awesome launch system: "Thrust mode" basically runs the thing to redline in each gear, before slamming it into the next gear. I think that all four tires chirp at every shift change...

That's good info on the launch system! Thanks for the all opinions so far. I'm now leaning towards the Gallardo. I'm such a pushover!

I wouldn't pay to drive a Z06 when I could test drive one for free at the local Chevy Dealership. You're paying for this, minus well pay to drive something you probably never will again

Gallardo is slow. I adore Lamborghinis, but I would have chosen the F430.

The launch system is outdated, as is the AWD system... and the transmission.

I drove a Gallardo in Vegas. Did 5 laps around the track. You will not regret it, it handles great

Gallardo. Then find a Carmax and test drive a Z06.

Gallardos are pretty common around these parts (as are F430s).

Gallardo, Z06s are a dime a dozen and I'm sure you will have plently of other chances to drive one.

Indeed, they are. Hell, in Miami the only time I'm really impressed is every time I pass that dealership that's a little further up from Bayside where they have all those Royces and Bentleys outside and that Veyron in the showroom.
