Dear Maxim Magazine...

I am surprised to find out how many people in this great Country have terrible eyesight. Leaving the selection of the Maxim Hot 100 to your readership clearly shows there are some problems in the ocular clarity department. How do they even read the magazine?

Then again, the general public did a better job than your editors usually do when left to the task themselves.

Seriously, Jennifer Lawrence at #6? If I ran into her at the mall (and I have), she would be in second place to the girl selling me the giant pretzel, and she's no prize.

now why i can't see the list because it's blocked here at work for "This site was categorized in: Lingerie/Bikini" I will say that i could see Jennifer Lawrence in the Top 10. Girls got a bangin body and she killed it in The Hunger Games (one of my favorite book series). So for that i would place her in the Top 10 for THIS YEAR.

The list comes out fresh every year. Have to always remember who is hot at the time and getting attention from the public. If i remember correctly, Taylor Swift was in the Top 20 a few years back. She is not Top 20 worthy...

like when Rolling Stone claimed Bob Dylan was the greates Rock and Roll singer of all time.

I'd have to respectfully disagree, Ninja... when Ms. Swift was on the list a while back, it felt wrong... she was just a kid. However, if/ when I see a pic of her now, I have a very difficult time tearing my gaze away from her. My pulse races, my breathing gets short, and then my wife wants to know what the hell I'm looking at. Buzzzzz-killlllll.

Hay, did Cary from MythBusters make it on there? Or Megan Fox... she on there? I think she's got a lifetime membership. How about Patricia Heaton? Heaton me up just thinking about her...

nicki minaj and Stephen colbert are in there. ahead of Lois griffin. why would anyone take that list as anything other than a joke?

agreed. I do feel kinda bad for everyone on the list below Colbert. Most of them I don't recognize but even then ...

At least the colbert placement was a write-in thing that was put on by the magazine and comedy central. a joke, more or less. But some of the others... sheesh. Amanda Knox? Hot 100. The hotest of the hot includes Amanda Knox? I mean, yeah, she looks beter than the average urder suspect, but hot 100? Methinks not.

I am just saying that the list always has ridiculous people in some of the spots. JWoww? Jwoww. Are you kidding me? I have a patch of rough skin on my ankle that's hotter than Jwoww. Put a wig on my ankle and you might mistake the two.
