Grumpy Jenkins
This might be moved, but I wanted to post it. Alot of people here are Chevy people, and might be drag racers. Just got the sad news of the passing of Bill " Grumpy " Jenkins. Truely a Drag racing legend. R.I.P. Grump..

RIP....I remember watching him run when I was a kid racing my 100cc motorcycle...one of the all time greatest racers and engine builder that's for sure..

Sorry to hear of this, just read a write up of him in one of my Chevy mags about a month ago. Was a great article on his career and how they were rebuilding the oringinal "Old Reliable". Grumpy"s Toy was one of the first models I put together as a kid. He was a legend in his engineering of a Pro stocker.

When I was a toddler, my dad had a '72 Pro Stock 'Cuda. When he would ask me who my favorite pro stock driver was, I would tell him Bill Jenkins. I don't think that was the answer he was looking for. RIP Grumpy.
