Challenger outsells Mustang last month and year-to-date so far. One thing I have to say as far as all three muscle cars go (Camaro, Mustang, and Challenger)...

actually, i've been reading a couple of threads on mustang forums, and they don't seem very impressed with the 2010. I quite like it though.

The 2010 Mustang is growing on me. I actually considered it for a moment, but after building one online the price came to within $3k to my 2SS. For me to even consider anything else besides the Camaro it would have to be much cheaper...not just a few thousand.

Only because Dodge has been throwing every discount possible at the Challenger, plus the fact that it's brand new. When the 'stang was brand new, it was moving 5 times as many vehicles.

it was also being produced in wayyyy higher volume.......

the fact that a limited 2 door muscle car is beating the mass produced mustang is amazing and there is no excuse you can use to deny it.

edit: and all this in a recession....which wasnt the case in 05 when the current mustang came out.

i read somewhere dodge/chrysler forced the dealers to buy more cars otherwise they wouldn't meet the requirements for the bailout. dunno if its true.

Well why would anyone but a new mustang with all the talk about the 5.0 coming out. I would be waiting it out for that.
