The Post Office ain't a bad place to work when you're young. I worked there briefly, before I was accepted to the university.

You'll need to take the Civil Service Test for mail handlers which is given every so often at the local Federal Building. Go on-line to find out the dates and times as well as whatever else you'll need to bring to bear.

The test is general, as I recall, and the part you need to watch is the memory section. There, you'll be given a sheet of names with their addresses to look at for ten minutes, or so. Then they'll give ya' the same names and addresses on two separate sheets, and it'll be up to you to link the names with the correct addresses.

If ya' screw it up, you can take the test as many more times as necessary, on following dates, until ya' pass it. Don't sweat it , I did great my first time, and I was just eighteen then.

I'll laugh in advance, ja, ja, ja. Now, who is Charles Bukowski? I suspect he might be a TV personality; since we don't watch the boob tube, you have us at a disadvantage, my friend.

Cool, I'm goin' on to Amazon right now to buy a Bukowski book. It'll be read by the end of the week.
