Put a Boss stripe kit on the 5.0

I went with the 1970 style stripes instead of the 1969, people will know it's not the current one. It's more of a project car anyway; I plan on putting in a shaker hood and souping it up a bit. There's no way I'd be able to afford the actual Boss, so I figured the next best thing is to create my own. At least it has a 302 in it.

People that know nothing about cars will think it's a Boss 302 and those that know cars will scoff at you as a poser wannabe. The stripe and 302 part is fine but I would have omitted the "BOSS" script.

I think it looks good, but I'm with everyone else. I would have left out the Boss, but I would assume that it probably only comes that way

I think it looks great. I find it amusing when grown "men" get their panties in a bunch over decals. Just to really piss em off - Id throw a cobra emblem on there too.

I never intended to make the car look like something it isn't. I'm not trying to emulate the 2012 Boss 302; it's a tribute car to the 1970 Boss 302. It's still a work in progress.

It does look good but I don't like the Boss 302 poser theme. You can say "it's a work in progress" but the bottom line is your car will never be a real Boss 302.....regardless if you swap every Boss 302 part on your car. I suggest removing the "Boss" decal and replace it with something unique. Gotta love that Grabber Blue! Best color on late model Mustangs for sure.
