I think some dealers have no clue about GM fully warranting track duty on such cars. Unless they sell tons of these vehicles they proly just don't know. Simple.
My local winter dealer does trucks only pretty much.
That's what they sell and that's what they know.
If I were to service my car with them I'd have to sit down with the manger or the owner, GM manuals in hand and explain everything to them first in including what a 1le is. I am 2+ hrs away from my mechanic but don't mind it as track cars is what he does.
But as said before I had an alignment done at My summer dealer and they knew it was a special car and treated it as such. Zero complains. Excellent service.
So I'd say it all depends on what they sell etc.
