So my friends 2017 SS has this issue. He is currently at 60,xxx miles. Yes out of warranty. His shudder was present when he purchased the car under warranty. They performed the flush which did not solve it. It has now been diagnosed needing the torque converter replaced. This is quoted at $2700. I feel this being not solved under warranty should still be honored then. Any thoughts on this? I came here to this post instead of a new one for the moment since this post is the specific issue.
