Are you sure? When I lived there (left only a year ago) I saw more vanity plates (Texas has, by far the biggest selection of plate designs). I can't believe all of those people were paying 200/year just to have it.

When I was looking into it, I thought it was a high initial charge but then your plates where food for awhile.

Actually I just brought up the site. The only played that cost that much for one year are not that good looking but there are options for 5 year and 10 year plate that cost at most 70-80 per year.
