Well...
i bet your car looks just fine without it. Im probably one who likes the way these cars come from the factory, save for a few appearance mods like window tint, and i personally dont care much for badges.
There's not enough of these on the road to have a hard time telling them apart, for those who like there car to be special from others. Also you can tell a Z51 by looking at the brakes.
That said, of course, this is just my opinion. To each their own and by all means do what makes you happy.
