Sounds like useful knowledge for anybody who has a car with a conventional manual transmission (if it happens with an automatic, and I've never heard of this happening, the car has a bigger problem). I doubt it's just an LT1 matter, or just a V8 issue . . .
I suspect that most people with much manual transmission experience would recognize lugging when it happens (and then do something about it), but it'd be nice to get some official or at least semi-official definition.
