Regardless of whatever tires are on the car, you have to sign a disclaimer for Michelin that the tires are not recommended to be driven below 40 degrees, (read - no traction).
And yes, from personal experience, they are dangerous when cold.

I wanted the same combo and opted not to get the Z07 package. As far as the tires and cold weather.... ever fish tailed at 60 MPH on the freeway? been there done that, 40d that morning.
