Unless I was tracking the car on a very regular basis, I'd rather have the Z07 brakes and Z06 std tires. Better braking and better tire wear. I tried to do a special order to get that combination and couldn't.

Regardless of whatever tires are on the car, you have to sign a disclaimer for Michelin that the tires are not recommended to be driven below 40 degrees, (read - no traction).
And yes, from personal experience, they are dangerous when cold.
