I just had mine installed a few days ago.
It is definitely louder and deeper when you accelerate.
Maybe a little louder at idle.
Speed and performance wise: a little faster on low-end.
BTW - a tight fit near the AFM valves on the driver's side due to the proximity to the transmission cooler lines.
