I would be hesitant to self diagnose and treat back problems. I had significant pain that I dealt with for a long time. Family members who are physical therapists recommended all sorts of things. Some helped. Some didn’t. Nothing worked 100%. Eventually I got an MRI which showed a badly ruptured disc. I had surgery to remove the ruptured part and clean things up inside. That was 19 years ago and no problems since.
