I went through the same process with my 4th gen. I eventually went with slotted, only because I liked the look PLUS the hat didn’t rust like the stock rotors. I was warned that the drilled could cause issue with cracking but slotted were harmless if all I wanted was the appearance. If I ever need to go with new rotors on my SS, I’d probably go with slotted again, again just for looks.
