Because why? There isnt even equal traction front and rear stock. Cars are intended to understeer from the factory, especially at lower performance levels. But staggered setups and different weight distributions make this idea of having to run the same tires ridiculous. There are some things like making sure you aren’t going with radically different compound ratings and obvious dangerous oversteer setups, but there’s also no good reason to match tires front to rear on a RWD or FWD car…in fact id argue opposite of this is closer to optimal…
