Trent don't worry about the transmission issue I have made a transmission adapter to fit a 4l60 or a 4l80 to the lfx block it works perfect install a 6 clynder std trans program in computer use a stand alone computer for 4l60 and the torque management is a thing of the past no more throttle issues and timing being taken out on shifts.
