Busy day. Had 2 offers on the old house, one low ball then later in the day one at the asking price. I was kind of hoping the first guy would negotiate up as he was a drag racer & wanted the garage. But then came the 2nd offer & with less complications. It is a VA loan too. Looking like we have a winner. Hope it pans out.
In the mean time, Ruby Rabbit had started walking funny & not putting any weight on her right back leg. Took her to the Vet. Well, the good news is, no broken bones or displaced joints or vertebra. That would be really bad as rabbit bones are thin & brittle like chicken bones & very difficult to impossible to repair/heal. However exact diagnosis/prognosis is unclear. There was evidence of some past spinal injury & some build-up of stuff around that but not bad & no evidence of arthritis. It could be an aggravation of past injury, some sort of nerve damage or just some sort of sprain or soft tissue injury. She is on cage rest (or in her case pen rest), no jumping, & getting pain/anti-inflammatory meds. Then just watch & wait. Hope she improves.
