So..... I get in the SUV and head out on my errands this morning (had another day off!). Get about 20 miles from home and the temp gauge shoots to the top. DAMN! My constipated radiator was just REPLACED (no, apparently you can't just bore out the newer foreign made radiators..... grumble grumble grumble) on Friday! So I turn around and head to the shop, and called to tell them I was on my way. They gave me a lift home so I could finish my errands in Ladybug - a nerve-wracking prospect, driving into downtown, when it's barely over 30 degrees (been to Seattle??? ALL hills). I stopped by the shop on my way home to see what the problem is. Well, in addition to the radiator problem last week, the circuit board for the gauge cluster went bad! Certainly explains why no check engine light... So, "forced" to drive Ladybug another day or two while they track down the part and have it programmed... Pray I'm not the one to locate the patches of black ice, OK? I saw a Mustang do that today...
