Condition of roads in your area are the key. If you're trying to daily or even semi-daily drive on crappy roads give it up. Tires are not going to fix your problem. A regular ZL1 will.

Some tires are stiffer than others. In my C6, the RF tires are a rock. Change that to non RF and the ride quality does improve.
