Do you know the strength of your wheels, or how they were designed and tested? Our wheels are designed in house to JWL standards, then independently tested and verified by the VIA. While the required load rating to gain JWL approval is 1334lbs, we knew what kind of use our wheels would see and wanted to provide a little something extra for owners who properly put their car through its paces. As such, our 18” Corvette wheels carry a 1600lb load rating, while our 19” Corvette wheels carry a 1650lb rating for increases of 20% and 23% respectively.
But we didn’t stop there. The factory C7 wheel bending issue was at the top of our minds during the design process, so additional attention to the inner lip was needed. We added extra material around the entire lip to resist fatigue and bending, giving you confidence to attack apexes and pound curbs all day long.
