Have you tried turning wifi off on the phone? If not, try that. If that doesn't fix it, try turning off Bluetooth and see if that helps. If that still hasn't helped, then see if you get the same issues when just running Pandora on the phone, playing through the car via Bluetooth and the "Media" selection on the head unit, skipping Android Auto altogether.

I get issues with Amazon Music sometimes.
