I.E. if you spent all morning negotiating your final number, by the end of the conversation the dealership has zeroed in on their expected sale price & profit on the sale. If you held back on the trade-in until the end they may have low balled you on the offer to prevent them from having to re-negotiate (increase) the sales price. Just a thought....

The whole deal needs to be evaluated, not just the # on the trade in.
