Maybe for the idiot's who have to be the very first to own one. In 3-6 months after initial delivery there will be MSRP or very near. This is not the GT350 introduction or the Boss which had both been out of production for a very long time and slated for a very limited 1-2 year offering. The 500 hasn't been gone from production that long to command extended adm.
