No, manual shows 10qts for the LT1 and 11qts for the LT4
I would just check one morning before starting and see if it shows full on the dip stick. Two tenths of a quart is not going to matter one way or the other if it was a 10 quart system. However, the LT4 show that is has a 11qt. system..
Again, just check it when it has had time to properly drain back to oil pan and see if you need to add that last bit of oil and if you need to add another quart based off the manual.
PS: What was the difference in price if you don't mind being asked?
