A few weeks ago, I installed Z26 carbon ceramic front brakes pads to cut down on the dust. The brake pedal traveled further to the floor, so I knew something wasn't right. I contacted Power Stop, and it turns out I had installed the brake springs backwards. I turned them around, as well as bleeding/replacing the brake fluid. I took it for a test drive, and the brakes work better than they did before! The first pic below is the brake springs installed backwards, the 2nd pic is the brake springs installed properly, and the 3rd pic is just a pic of the bleeding process.
