This is in reference to a thread i posted:

I have a 2017 Camaro ss 1LE, and for some strange reason my car just doesn't like to burnout. I have traction control all the way off (held for 10 seconds) in both track mode and sport mode and it just does not want to sit their and spin the tires, i can do a launch burnout where i just rev it up and drop the clutch but i'm wondering why i can't do proper burnout for example if i'm at the track and want to properly heat up the tires.
So the way i do a burnout and have always done a burnout in a manual car is simply by revving the gas drop the clutch and apply the brake.
are the breaks over powering the engine? Is their a certain mode the car needs to be in? I've tried race while in track mode and no dice.
To make it easier i have attached a link to show you what i mean. I've only been successful TWICE in doing somewhat of a decent burnout while doing the same thing everytime..
