Obviously, I'm not British, so this isn't a story about a missing wallet.
Almost 13 weeks ago, I decided to switch from a workout plan that went from maintaining my condition to improving it. I figured that I would try something different. Having stayed up too late one night, I saw an ad for P90X. Is it me or are these ads annoying to anyone else? The ad was convincing, but there was no way that a customer service representative is going to shell out the $120 for a box of DVDs on workouts that I could have seen on YouTube, so I started searching for some insight into the workouts.
It turns out that a lot of people swear by this program, so I found some sites online discussing the program and a schedule on what to do and when to do it.
To make this long story short, I lost 18 pounds and I was already healthy.

The moral of the story is that those of you wanting to try a new workout routine can get really healthy in less than 13 weeks if you basically follow a workout plan involving a mix of kickboxing (I added some taekwondo to the workout in place of kempo and yoga), light weight lifting, lots of pushups, lots of crunches, and some agility exercises. Expect to spend up to an hour doing this workout 6 days out of the week.
