My question, why the hell doesn't this thing have the A10? Especially considering a large majority of A8s are eating their TCs. I take it they have upgraded the 8L90 to a 8L100 or something to handle the new power.

The 10 spd does not fit, and the 8 speed was upgraded to perform better than the 8 speed we have now, and I think it performs pretty well minus the tc issues.
Then again I doubt the 8 speed we have now, as good as it is, is commonly considered good enough for a 120K supercar so I wonder just how much better it is. The MT article says it shifts faster.
