I adjust mine every so often. When I would adjust it down one number it would not let out any air (lost a little bit). This was over a two to three week period.
If mine lost air overnight and they did not fix it, then they would have come and got. If someone has a leaker and they didn’t get it made right, then my money is on they own a cat.
