They knew of the Car's limitations and performance way before release and still released it. All those laps at the Proving Grounds told them so.
NOW PLEASE FIX IT AND RETROFIT ALL THE CARS.

That leaves a bad taste, as the ZL1 1LE was touted to be the
Extreme Track Package yet the Car's De-Tuned???? This would never fly during the 1969 COPO Program. This also doesn't sound like "Extreme" to me.
