I'm just down the coast a little ways from you.....I'm in West Columbia...right on the Brazos River. As the crow flies, the river is about a quarter mile away. fortunately the neighborhood developer back in the early 70's had the fore though to build a levee around the entire neighborhood.....otherwise everyone would already be underwater.
