well I am still displaced.....the Brazos River still hasn't crested, as I am a lot closer to the gulf and the water is still coming my way. the good news is that our neighborhood is still dry.....but all roads going in and out are closed and flooded. There is about 30 or so people that stayed and are protecting the neighborhood. anything and everything from sandbagging a few parts of our levee to providing security to all of the homes...We have nicknamed them the Beaver Crew. as of this post, the river level is at 30.76' with a projected river crest of 32'. the current projected crest will be Tuesday morning.....just keeping the faith and a prayer in my heart......
