Such a horrible situation for all those impacted. Hope recovery goes as well as possible. My sister managed to get to safety & was hold up in an RV park close to College Station for 5 days. They made it back to their place on Galveston Island on Wednesday. There was some water under the house (up on posts) some things damaged under there in storage area and her husband's recently restored Trans Am did not look to have fared too badly. (She said he wrapped it in tarps like a burrito. LOL). But when they got upstairs they found bedroom windows had broken in & there was a good bit of water that had ruined lots of things including some walls & furnishings. However, all in all, they were very lucky. They even have power & potable water. Stay safe everyone.

We got the remnants of the storm here last night & some local flooding, trees down, etc. Our place is fine thankfully.
