Funny thing, I went to the local Toyota dealer to drop my girlfriend's Tacoma for service and asked about this issue. I was told the dealers first heard about it the same way we did! Through the news! They are NOT prepared at all to deal with this. So, she removed her mats and now is waiting for the recall notice from Toyota. Oh my! :(
