Pretty sad a 1/2 ton Tundra TRD can't do better than 13mpg.
I had a gas F250 that got 17 average.
The 2500 Cummins is a HUGE 3/4 ton 4x4 crew cab truck by comparison and downright takes a dump on the Tundra in mpg's.
Don't care about the gas v diesel mpg argument. This is 2017 and technology should get that Toyota more mpg's. But Toyota is behind in that area on trucks.
I have a 2003 Tacoma auto with. It only averages 21 mpg's. Ridiculous! My SS at 400hp factory at 4000+ lb with me in the car averaged better. My Mustang GT averaged better. Other 4cyl trucks I had did better.
So yeah, Toyota trucks seem to
suck the fuel.
Performance car, I expect it. Especially modded.
But new trucks, nope!
Toyota needs to improve there. I'll never buy another until they do.
His trucks (yoda is traded off):
