That was me.
Although the Challenger R/T has 380-hp, thanks to the curb weight (north of 4000 lbs) it goes from 0-60 in just under 6 seconds; by comparison, my 320-hp Mustang GT (with some small mods) will run it in 5 flat, and it was $4,000 cheaper to boot.
I'll be honest, I love the styling of the Challenger, and Dodge's decision to make it such a porker brings tears to my eyes (not because of the safety features as much as the huge platform they chose to build it on), and the fact that I can spend less money and get a faster car with a non-boring interior doesn't bode well for the Challenger; especially not in a market that's all about speed and good looks for cheap.
